Session Description What is self-handicapping behavior? Self-handicapping is a common behavior that hasn’t received much attention in professional business literature. Self-handicapping is frequent, hidden, subtle, and difficult to see and often denied by individuals and organizations. Consequently, many employees disengage and end up quitting or being terminated which contributes to turnover, poor customer satisfaction, productivity, and profitably problems.
