Henry Martin del Campo, M.D., (Hank) ABFP, is board certified in Family Medicine. He received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from

UCLA.  He completed his residency training at the University of Illinois Methodist Family Practice Residency Program.


Dr. Martin del Campo practiced in his hometown of Visalia, California for seven years.  He then went on to complete a one-year fellowship program in Rural Medicine with emphasis on obstetrics at the University of Washington in Tacoma, Washington.  He returned to Peoria in 1991 and assumed the role of Clinical Assistant Professor in Family Medicine at the U of I Methodist Family Practice Residency where he was Associate Director of Obstetric Curriculum for the residency.  Dr. Martin del Campo has been the Medical Director of Risk Management, Manage Care, and Medical Education at Methodist Medical center. 


Since 1999 Dr. Martin del Campo has been employed by OSF Healthcare.  He has been the Medical Director at OSF Health Plans, VP of Quality & Safety, Lead Physician for his Medical Group office as well as Lead Physician for OSF Prompt Care department. 


Dr. Martin del Campo discloses that he has served as a consultant/member to ISMIE’s Physician Review Committee for 25 years.   He has participated in multiple ISMIE’s Risk Management subcommittees and has spoken extensively on the subject of risk management.


Presently, Dr. Martin del Campo is the Medical Director for OSF Health Management and Clinician Care programs.  As of 2014, Dr. Martin del Campo serves as the Medical Director for OSF Healthcare BCBSIL HMOI Central insurance plan.


On a personal note, Hank is a California boy that married an Illinois girl and consequently, lives in Illinois.  Hank and his wife, Kim, have 4 children, 2 of which are physicians, along with 2 grandchildren.
